How does this compare with a Manchester agency or a London consultancy?

An agency generally delivers the thing you have already decided to buy. A consultancy, or an AI consulting firm if that is the phrase you searched for, generally sells you the decision and hands the build to somebody else. Neither half on its own can afford to tell you that the project is not worth doing. We do both halves, which is the only reason our audit can end with a recommendation to build nothing.

On price, a London firm is quoting you for a London office, London travel and a partner who will introduce the work and then leave. You get the deck and you meet the junior who wrote it. We would rather be judged on a document you can open in a browser. What we will not do

• We will not recommend a build we would not be willing to write ourselves.
• We will not put a language model where a rule, a form or a fixed integration does the job more cheaply and reliably.
• We will not sell a retainer for a dashboard nobody opens.
• We will not credit the audit fee against a build, because pricing a diagnostic as a deposit turns it into a sales call.
• We will not quote a build before the audit, because a number produced before the work is understood is a guess with a decimal point.
• We will not publish your company name, your figures or your process without written permission.

The boundary

What we cannot show you yet

We do not publish before and after percentages, hours saved or return on investment figures for client work, because we do not yet have a way to measure them that would survive you checking it. Plenty of firms publish those numbers anyway. We would rather you could verify the one number we do publish.
